1. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. These rights apply regardless of the change-of-mind terms below.

2. Faulty or incorrect items

If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, not as described, or not what you ordered, contact us at: info@theprinterclinic.com.au within 30days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will offer a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate, and we cover return shipping costs.

3. Printers

• Change of mind: Unused printers in original, sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, less return shipping.

• Opened or set-up printers: Not eligible for change-of-mind returns, as they cannot be resold as new.

• Faults: Printers that fail within the manufacturer's warranty period may be handled through us or the manufacturer's service centre. Either way, you keep your ACL rights.

4. Toner and ink cartridges

• Change of mind: Unopened cartridges in original sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days.

• Opened or installed cartridges are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, as they cannot be resold and may leak or be contaminated.

• Wrong cartridge: If you ordered the wrong model, we can accept the return only if it's unopened. Please check your printer model against our compatibility information before ordering.

• Faulty cartridges (leaking, dead on arrival, poor print quality, or not recognised by a compatible printer) are covered under section 2. Please keep the cartridge and packaging.

• Compatible and remanufactured cartridges are covered by the same policy and consumer guarantees as genuine cartridges.

5. How to return

1. Email Info@theprinterclinic.com.au with your order number and reason.

2. We'll reply with a return authorisation and address.

3. Pack the item securely with all accessories and original packaging.

4. Send it using a tracked service. Return shipping is [paid by you for change of mind / paid by us for faults].

6. Refunds

Refunds go to your original payment method within 5-10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item. Original shipping is not refunded for change-of-mind returns [optional]. [Optional: a restocking fee of [X]% may apply to change-of-mind printer returns.]

7. Items we can't accept

Items returned used, damaged by you, missing parts, or without prior authorisation, unless the ACL gives you a right to return them.
